Children at Devonshire Day Nursery in Chiswick were delighted to share the morning with the important men in their lives as they celebrated Father’s Day with a special breakfast.
At the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery on Bennett Street, children and their families enjoyed a delicious spread of pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt and juices. The occasion also gave pre-schoolers the chance to get creative, producing thoughtful artwork and chatting about the male role models who care for, support and inspire them.
Following breakfast, children proudly showed their loved ones around the nursery, exploring its engaging learning spaces and wide range of resources. From imaginative play and construction activities to outdoor exploration, families spent quality time together discovering favourite areas of the setting, creating special memories and sharing in the children’s everyday experiences.
Devonshire Day Nursery Manager, Emmy Avery explained;
“It was wonderful to welcome so many families to our Father’s Day breakfast and see the children proudly sharing their nursery experiences with the important men in their lives. We have received lovely feedback from those who attended, and events like these are a fantastic way for families to meet one another, strengthen connections and become part of our nursery community. It was a special morning enjoyed by everyone.”
