If you’re seeking exceptional care and education for your child, Linmere Day Nursery offers a secure, warm and welcoming environment within a modern, purpose-built setting. We place each child at the heart of everything we do, recognising their individuality, nurturing their interests, and supporting their development every step of the way – all within a setting where children feel safe, confident and valued.
Our bespoke Ready, Steady, Grow curriculum is thoughtfully designed around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework. This enables us to create engaging, personalised learning experiences that build on each child’s interests and support their progress through high-quality teaching from our experienced and dedicated early years professionals.
Children at Linmere Day Nursery benefit from daily access to our spacious outdoor garden, reflecting our strong belief in the importance of outdoor learning for promoting social, emotional, and physical development. Outdoor areas are securely enclosed and carefully supervised, allowing children to explore freely while remaining safe.
Our knowledgeable and highly skilled team work in close partnership with parents to deliver an exceptional, secure and nurturing service to you and your child.
Our fees include all activities, formula milk, nappies, nappy cream, baby wipes, sun cream, freshly prepared, and nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks throughout the day.
We use Sing and Sign and run Boogie Mites sessions throughout the week for all age groups.
Our children take part in a year-round curriculum of green activities, including recycling projects, growing and caring for seasonal vegetables, nature exploration, and learning how to protect the world around them.
Additionally, parents will have ‘free to use’ access to our exclusive parent website and App – childbase@home – offering a full range of bespoke books, on-line experiences and parent workshops and masterclasses run by industry professionals including SEND, behaviour management, first aid and speech & language.

Hello, I’m _____, the Manager of the _____ Day Nursery in ____.
I have over _____ years experience in the early years sector and hold a _____ qualification/Degree in Early Years. I have proudly worked with Childbase Partnership since _______.
I look forward to welcoming you and your family to our nursery.
_______ – Nursery Manager
Our Caterpillar room is for our youngest children. Each child is supported by a dedicated Key Person who builds a strong bond with both you and your child. They provide consistency and familiarity throughout the day, helping to follow your child’s home routine as closely as possible. We also begin to support early language, understanding and social development.
In our Ladybird room, we focus on developing children’s language, social and physical skills. As language grows quickly at this stage, we work closely with you to support this both at home and in nursery. We also encourage independence and help children to make their own choices with confidence.
In our Bumblebees room, we focus on developing children’s language, social and physical skills. We encourage children to explore, investigate and learn through play, while building their confidence to do things for themselves. With the support of their Key Person, children develop independence, self-help skills, vocabulary and early thinking skills in a nurturing environment.
In Preschool , we focus on building children’s independence, self-care and self-esteem. We continue to develop language, communication and vocabulary, while supporting learning through play. Through our Ready, Steady, Grow programme, children are prepared for school with early phonics and more structured small group learning.

If the place you require is available, we will confirm this in writing and provide you with a registration form to complete. At this stage, we will also request a non-refundable £50 place acceptance fee and 50% of the first month’s fees.
If a place is not currently available, we will add your child to our waiting list and keep you informed of any changes.
As your child’s start date approaches, we will arrange settling-in sessions. These sessions give you and your child the opportunity to meet their Key Person and spend time together in their room, helping your child feel comfortable and confident in their new environment. They also allow us to get to know your family and ensure we can provide the best possible care.
If you have any questions at any point, or would like to arrange a nursery tour if you haven’t already, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Our nursery is open between 7.30am and 6.30pm, 52 weeks a year excluding public holidays and 2 inset days for full team training.
We offer a fully inclusive service and our fees include nappies, wipes, milks, all meals and sun cream. Our fee sheet can be found here.
We accept funding for children aged 9 months and older and annualise this across 50 weeks of the year. There is the option to take funded only sessions or all-inclusive sessions subject to availability. More information can be found here.
All of our colleagues hold an enhanced DBS and go through extensive employment checks before joining us. We have a designated safeguarding officer within the nursery and all colleagues undertake training on safeguarding throughout the year. The nursery building has a secure entry door which can only be opened by the nursery team. All external areas of the nursery are secure and we have CCTV in place.
Our settling in sessions run over a number of weeks and ensure that there is plenty of time to get to know you and your child. We will ask plenty of questions about your child’s routine, development and interests and use this information to support their transition into nursery.
