Open 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding inset days and public holidays, we offer a fully inclusive service.
Our nursery provides excellent care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Conveniently located off Junction 11 of the M4, we are a single storey purpose built nursery. Each of our age specific rooms has direct access to the garden which provides lots of sensory experiences, introduces children to nature and provides opportunities for them to use their full body and enhance their gross motor skills.
We teach children to care about the world they live in and our nursery is proud to have gained an Eco Schools Green Flag Award. Children can learn more about the natural environment in our fantastic outdoor classroom facility which offers opportunities for all weather use.
Our highly knowledgeable and skilled practitioners ensure that your child’s days are filled full of learning through play. Our ‘Teach to Reach’ programme, winner of a prestigious Princess Royal Training Award, recognises the importance of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) establishing and judging minimum standards in the sector, but in addition celebrates the greater emphasis now being placed on wellbeing and the importance of communication and language skills for the very young.
Our fees include all activities, formula milk, nappies, nappy cream, baby wipes, sun cream, freshly prepared, and award-winning well-balanced meals and snacks throughout the day.
Additionally, you will have ‘free to use’ access to our exclusive parent website and App – childbase@home – offering a full range of bespoke books, on-line experiences and parent workshops and masterclasses run by industry professionals including SEND, behaviour management, first aid and speech & language.

We prioritise the importance of outdoor play at Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard. All children at our Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery have access to our large, natural garden area on a daily basis as we recognise the impact that being outdoors has on a child’s social, emotional and physical development. The children enjoy planting vegetables and tasting their produce, served by our dedicated Nursery Chef.
