Victoria House Day Nursery embraces ‘the season of goodwill’
Victoria House Day Nursery in Marlow has been hard at work collecting donations for their local food bank just in time for Christmas.
Children and staff from the Day Nursery in Victoria Road visited the ‘One Can Trust’ in Marlow’s Methodist Church to drop off generous donations from parents and practitioners, which included essential food items, household products and toiletries for those who need it most.
Victoria House Day Nursery Manager, Laura Rogers said;
“We are so pleased to be making this donation to the ‘One Can Trust’, especially at this time of the year. We have been speaking a lot in nursery about food banks and why they are so important for many families, so the children understood the significance of our visit which was great. We’d like to say a big thank you to all the parents who have contributed to our collection.”
The ‘One Can Trust’ food bank serves people in South Buckinghamshire throughout the year but particularly during the festive season.
