Spooky fun at Green Park Day Nursery

Festivities were well underway at Green Park Day Nursery in Reading as delighted children took part in a series of activities to celebrate Halloween.

At the day nursery on South Oak Way, pre-schoolers showcased their creativity by hollowing out pumpkins and making a selection of witches’ potions with the insides, before studying the various bones in the human body using a projector and dressing up in their scariest Halloween costumes.

Green Park Day Nursery Deputy Manager, Lisa Manston explained;

“We love to mark a range of special occasions in nursery and Halloween is no different. Not only have the festivities provided endless opportunities to be creative, but have allowed us to incorporate scientific teachings by exploring skeletons, develop fine motor skills by making potions and use our imaginations by dressing up as our favourite spooky figures.”
