Love is in the air at Oxford Day Nursery

Love hearts and flowers greeted parents, children and practitioners at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery in Oxford for Valentine’s Day 2018.

There was a serenade of love songs playing in the background to parents at drop off time and decorations can be found all around the nursery. Practitioners have been treated to a Valentine’s Day breakfast, ensuring the love is spread throughout Sandfield Nursery.

The nursery in Headington also held a Valentine’s Hamper Fundraiser yesterday, in aide of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Sandfield Nursery Manager Kim Hambridge said:

“Everyone should feel special on Valentine’s Day so we wanted to do something for the entire Sandfield Nursery community. We have baked Valentine’s biscuits in nursery to present as gifts and treated our dedicated practitioners to a special breakfast in dedication to the care and support they give to our children all year round.”

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity and provide expert information, training and support services to those who need their help. Their research programme focuses on improving care for people with dementia today and finding a cure for tomorrow.
