Knowle Green Day Nursery has their ‘elves’ a merry little Christmas
Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines joined thousands of Childbase Partnership employees and children in celebrating ‘Elf Day’ in order to raise money for the UK’s leading dementia charity, ‘Alzheimer’s Society’.
Children and staff at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery in Knowle Green transformed into elves for the occasion, dressing up in their finest stripy tights, hats and Christmas jumpers in order to celebrate and spread festive cheer.
The nursery’s resident ‘Elf on the Shelf’ was also involved in the day’s proceedings, causing mischief throughout the nursery, much to the delight of the children. Other activities also included face painting and a cake sale.
Knowle Green Day Nursery Team Leader, Hannah Willis said;
“Elf Day was a brilliant success, and the children loved getting dressed up together. We’d like to say a big thank you to the generous donations given by parents and carers which has helped us to raise over £100 so far”.
Knowle Green Day Nursery adopted Alzheimer’s Society for a year-long fund-raising drive.
