At the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery on York Road, pre-schoolers took part in a range of themed activities for the anniversary, including baking a rainbow cake, whilst essential worker parents were delighted to receive gifts by way of appreciation. Meanwhile, hardworking practitioners were celebrated with personalised postcards with messages of thanks, as well as sweet treats from grateful managers.
Grasshoppers Day Nursery Manager, Jeni Neville explained;
“We have had a brilliant time celebrating all the amazing key workers and individuals who have shown such kindness and bravery during the past year. The children’s costumes were fantastic and it was wonderful to shine a spotlight on our wonderful colleagues, who have worked so hard.”
