End of summer celebrations at Windmill Hill Day Nursery

Dedicated childcare colleagues from Windmill Hill Day Nursery in Swindon were delighted to celebrate the achievements of the past year and mark the end of term with a special festival themed garden party.

From bidding farewell to another cohort of pre-schoolers as they transition to school, to raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK through a variety of fundraising initiatives including head shaving and sponsored walks, the team from the setting on Windmill Hill Business Park, Whitehill Way reflected upon their accomplishments and enjoyed an afternoon of festivities, complete with food, drinks and glitter station.

Surrounded by decorations and bunting, colleagues also showcased their creativity by making flower crowns for the occasion using a range of materials, before dancing the evening away with headphones as part of a silent disco finale.

Windmill Hill Day Nursery Quality Manager, Gemma Gill explained;

“Our colleague celebrations were a huge success and this provided a great morale boost to our team who have worked so hard over the past year. We are hugely proud of the example they set to the children and the exceptional service they continue to provide to our nursery families.”
