Easter crafts and chocolate treats at Cranfield day nursery
Eggstreme fun’ was the motto for Easter week at Cherry Trees Day Nursery on Duncan Road in Cranfield.
Children have been getting crafty enjoying making Easter cards, potato printing as well as reading books on the origins and true meaning of this springtime celebration.
They also whipped up some delicious chocolate Easter nests as a special treat. An Easter tombola, with prizes donated by staff raised nearly £60 for the charity, Alzheimer’s Society.
Cherry Trees Manager Emma Jestice said:
“Easter is lots of fun at Cherry Trees Day Nursery and the children have had a great time engaging in an array of themed activities. I would like to thank all the parents and staff that helped us raise money for people living with Alzheimer’s.”
