Devonshire Day Nursery colleagues enjoy ‘Marvellous Monday’

Despite being known as the ‘gloomiest day of the year’, colleagues from Devonshire Day Nursery in Chiswick were determined not to let ‘Blue Monday’ dampen their spirits as they enjoyed a series of wellbeing themed celebrations across the setting.

At the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery on Bennett Street, the talented team were invited to wear bright colours for the day, before being served a pizza lunch by Nursery Manager, Emmy Avery and receiving individual pamper packs which were created by Business Administrator, Erica Lee, including self-care items such as face masks as a token of gratitude for their dedication to their roles.

Devonshire Day Nursery Business Administrator, Erica Lee, who is also the nursery’s dedicated ‘Wellbeing Ninja’ explained;

“I feel very lucky to work with such a passionate team, who have not only continued to deliver exceptional childcare through a pandemic, but bring joy every day. Staff wellbeing is more important than ever and being able to put a smile on everyone’s faces really means a lot in these challenging times.”

Devonshire Day Nursery Manager, Emmy Avery said;

“We are incredibly proud of the way our colleagues have navigated the past year. Not only have they helped to ensure our nursery families feel at ease, following introductions of new safety protocols and operating procedures, but continued to deliver an outstanding service. We were keen to make a gesture to show them just how grateful we are for their continued positivity and perseverance.”
