Celebrating 25 years of service at Sandfield Day Nursery
There was cause for celebration at Sandfield Day Nursery in Headington as colleagues honoured their beloved Manager, Kim Hambridge, as she marked her milestone 25 year anniversary at the award-winning company.
Kim began her career at Childbase Partnership in 1995 after responding to a letter from the company who were seeking local childminder’s for part-time employment. Whilst becoming fully qualified and supported through in-house training, Kim worked at sister nurseries Julia Durbin and Cedar Park as Manager, before entering her current role at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Sandfield Day Nursery on Sandfield Rd.
As well as positively shaping the lives of thousands of children, giving back has been an important part of Kim’s time at Childbase. From taking part in fundraising ventures such as sleep rough nights, sponsored stay-awake challenges and even a 26 mile walk, Kim has helped to contribute towards the £3million that the company has raised for worthy causes such as ‘Alzheimer’s Society’ and ‘Mind’ in the past 30 years.
Sandfield Day Nursery Manager, Kim Hambridge explained;
“I’m delighted to be celebrating 25 years at Childbase and I want to thank my colleagues who have made me feel really special. It’s been a privilege to watch so many children grow up in an environment which is so passionate and with amazing teams by my side. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what we achieve next.”
