Cedars Day Nursery children enjoy Royal Ball

From princes and princesses to dragons and knights, children from Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard were delighted to dress up as their favourite fantasy figures for a Royal Ball, following an interest in mystical creatures and characters.

After showcasing their creativity by making handmade invitations for the event, pre-schoolers from the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery on Mentmore Road enjoyed a series of activities as part of the celebrations, including making magical wands, ballroom dancing and creating pizzas and shortbread for the banquet tea.

Cedars Day Nursery Deputy Manager, Laura Farrell explained;

“We love to pursue the children’s interests in nursery to provide them with rich learning experiences which spark curiosity. The Royal Ball was a great success and we had a brilliant time developing our culinary skills and using our imaginations.”
