Cedars mark National Apprenticeship Week

The spotlight was on Early Years professionals in-training at Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard as they were celebrated by colleagues during National Apprenticeship Week.

At the setting on Mentmore Road, Apprentices; Annabelle Lynch, Amy Lawman, Rebekah Smith, Tanesha Tench, Alex Bateman, Becca Cox, Jananai Dharmasiri and Maggie May were each presented with flowers, gift bags and handwritten cards from their grateful management team, who encouraged them to aim for their jobs in the future.

As part of the Childbase Partnership group, Apprentices at Cedars gain their qualifications through the company’s in-house training centre; Edubase Academy. Here learners benefit from Princess Royal Award-winning training, a comprehensive range of leadership courses, mentoring, and expert support, all whilst gaining hands-on nursery experience.

Cedars Day Nursery Manager, Lauren Trotter explained;
