Cedar Park Day Nursery children celebrate graduation

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house at Cedar Park Day Nursery in Twyford as children marked the end of their time at pre-school with a special graduation ceremony, surrounded by their proud families and practitioners.

Dressed in gowns and mortar boards, children from the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery in Bridge Farm Road were delighted to accept their certificates of achievement and pose for photographs, before each receiving a farewell gift.

Families were able to round off the celebrations with a picnic in the nursery’s vast outdoor forest school area, complete with a performance of songs by the children.

Cedar Park Day Nursery Manager, Emma Kemp explained;

“We are so proud of the children and everything they have achieved at Cedar Park, especially having cared for the majority of them since they were babies. We are extremely sad to see them go but are confident that the learning experiences we have given them will stand them in the best possible stead for school life.”
