Lime Grove Day Nursery celebrate Father’s Day

Parents from Lime Grove Day Nursery in Hemel Hempstead were delighted to be greeted with a takeaway Father’s Day breakfast as they dropped their children off at the setting.

At the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery on Park Road, dads, stepdads, grandfathers and carers were served a selection of hot drinks, as well as bacon rolls, egg rolls and fresh pastries to mark the occasion, whilst pre-schoolers showcased their creativity by making homemade cards and discussing the different men in their lives that they love and care for.

Meanwhile, colleagues created a special display complete with Father’s Day messages in different languages to support multilingual families, as well as creating photo opportunities featuring children with their own messages of gratitude to send to parents.

Lime Grove Day Nursery Team Leader, Robyn Shuck explained;

“The children had a wonderful time creating their cards and gifts for Father’s Day and we were so pleased to be able to put on this spread for all the amazing male role models in their lives. We had a brilliant morning catching up and are so grateful for their continued support.”
