Taking fundraising to new heights at Field House

There was cause for celebration at Field House Day Nursery in Buckingham as a devoted Nursery Practitioner showcased her bravery with a skydive to raise vital funds for charity.

Taking to the skies over Hinton-in-the-Hedges, Tori Silvester from the award-winning setting on Tingewick Road made the jump from 13,000ft in aid of the British Heart Foundation, raising a total of £710.00 and counting for the charity thanks to the donations of generous supporters, which will now go towards funding research into congenital heart disease.

The skydive is the latest in a series of fundraisers for the Field House team, who have recently enjoyed initiatives including bake sales, raffles and dress down days for the cause.

Field House Nursery Manager, Liz Hofman explained;

“We are all so proud of Tori for challenging herself to do this skydive for such an amazing cause. She has raised an incredible amount of money, which will do so much good for those with heart conditions. Raising money for charity has always been hugely important to us as a nursery and we are always blown away by the efforts our colleagues and families go to.”

Field House have adopted the British Heart Foundation for a year-long fundraising drive.
