Brinds Well colleagues celebrate Afternoon Tea Week

Brinds Well Afternoon Tea Week

Festivities were well underway at Brinds Well Day Nursery in Chelsfield as devoted colleagues celebrated Afternoon Tea Week with sweet treats from their grateful managers.

To thank them for their hard work and dedication to the children in their care, colleagues from the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Day Nursery on Hawstead Lane were delighted to indulge in platters filled with homemade sandwiches, cakes, fruit and fresh scones complete with clotted cream and jam as part of the occasion, as well as a selection of hot drinks.

During a Management and Leadership meeting at the setting, special visitor and Childbase Partnership Quality and Training Advisor, Zoe Holmes, was also able to join in with the team celebrations as she led the conversation on equality and diversity within the nursery environment and what this looked like and meant for both colleagues and children.

Brinds Well Day Nursery Manager, Vanessa Watkins explained;

“We had a brilliant time celebrating Afternoon Tea Week and discussing the history behind this British tradition. The team consistently go above and beyond for our families and each other so we aim to show our appreciation as much as we can. Their passion and ability to create fun and engaging learning opportunities every day truly sets them apart.”

Afternoon Tea Week was celebrated from 7th – 12th August 2023.
