Children from Berryfields Day Nursery took part in a local litter pick as part of the Keep Britain Tidy Big School Clean, helping to make their community a cleaner place to live.
The children enthusiastically collected litter from the surrounding area, learning about the importance of caring for the environment and taking pride in their local neighbourhood. Staff praised the children’s energy and teamwork, noting how much they enjoyed getting involved and making a positive difference.
Yasmin, Deputy Manager, said: “The children absolutely loved taking part. It was a great way to teach them about responsibility and looking after the world around them.”
The activity forms part of the nursery’s ongoing commitment to encouraging environmental awareness from an early age.
