Twyford day nursery’s Quiz and Curry Night raises money for charity
It was freshly prepared curry on the menu at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Cedar Park Day Nursery’s Quiz Night. The Quiz Night was held to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, raising £150 for the charity.
Both parents and staff attended the event and tackled questions on subjects such as pop and film as well as a logo round. The winning team were ‘Quiz Teamer Aguilera’s’ who went home with chocolate and wine.
The food was prepared by Cedar Park’s award winning Chef Patricia, with the ingredients kindly donated by their regular suppliers Creed.
Cedar Park Manager Emma Kemp said:
“The Charity Quiz and Curry Night was a great way of bringing parents and staff together at the nursery in what turned out to be a great social event. At Cedar Park, we believe in giving back to the community and we were delighted to be able to raise £150 on the night for the Alzheimer's Society.”
