Hertford nursery practitioner skydives for charity

A nursery practitioner from River View Day Nursery in Hertford has taken part in a charity skydive to raise money for disabled children.

Raising nearly £650, Jodie, who is also the nurseries Charity Rep, took to the sky in aid of the children’s charity Children Today.

Jodie said:

“Completing the skydive was an amazing experience and I enjoyed every minute of it. I would even do it again someday as it feels fantastic having achieved so much for such a worthy cause. I would like to thank all those who have supported and sponsored me.”

Manger of River View, Victoria Powell added:

“We are all enormously proud of Jodie and her brave endeavour. At River View we believe in the importance of community fundraising and do a number of charity events throughout the year. However, jumping out of a plane is clearly the bravest challenge yet. “
