Colour Obstacle Rush at Leighton Buzzard Day Nursery raises nearly £600 for charity
Practitioners at Cedars Day Nursery in Mentmore Road, Leighton Buzzard have raised nearly £600 for the disabled children’s charity, Children Today. They took part in a 5k obstacle run at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes.
The Colour Obstacle Rush features 20 obstacles to cross whilst being doused in colour. The run was first introduced in Finland in 2014 but has rapidly spread across Europe and the US and is known for its festival vibe and fun features.
Manager of the Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery said:
“I am very proud of the practitioners who took part in this event and the preparation they put into preparing for the run. We would like to thank all of the parents, friends and family who supported this charity initiative and gave money to this fantastic cause.”
Children Today is a charity that raises funds to provide specialised equipment and services for children and young people with disabilities throughout the UK. Following a company-wide vote, Childbase is delighted to be supporting Children Today.
