Breakfast Bonanza raises £200 for disabled children’s charity

Bacon baps went a long way in raising money for the disabled children’s charity, Children Today at Cedar Park Day Nursery.

Employees at the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ day nursery in Twyford wanted to run a charity event which they thought would be really helpful to parents; and what better way than to welcome busy parents with breakfast at the door? Parents were not only able to purchase breakfast for themselves but also placed bulk orders that they took to work.

Cedar Park parent Katie said:

“Feedback from breakfast was that it was delicious! The vegetarian  sausages were gorgeous and I particularly liked my Brie and Bacon Croissant-thank you.”

Nursey Manager Emma Kemp added:

“This was a fantastic event which raised money for a worthy cause. I would particularly like to thank Cedar Park employees Sally and Colleen who organised the breakfast and all the parents who helped to support Children Today.”

Children Today is a charity that raises funds to provide specialised equipment and services for children and young people with disabilities throughout the UK. Following a company-wide vote, Childbase is delighted to be supporting Children Today.
